Cookie Policy
Effective Date: June 15, 2026 | Last Updated: June 23, 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit. Cookies allow the website to recognize your device on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with the site. In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies — including pixels, tags, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs) — collectively referred to in this Policy as "cookies."
2. Why We Use Cookies
Nexa Leads uses cookies for purposes that are essential to the operation of our pay-per-call and lead-generation network:
- Call and lead attribution: to track which publisher, advertisement, keyword, or landing page generated a specific phone call or form submission so we can accurately attribute conversions and compensate publishers.
- Conversion tracking: to measure when a consumer completes a desired action — such as placing a call that meets a minimum duration threshold or submitting a valid lead form — so buyers can assess return on investment.
- Fraud detection and security: to identify and block bots, automated scripts, duplicate submissions, and other fraudulent or non-compliant traffic.
- Performance optimization: to analyze which landing pages, form layouts, and call flows produce the highest quality leads and calls, and to test improvements.
- Website functionality: to remember your cookie preferences, maintain session state during form completion, and support CAPTCHA verification.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary (Essential) Cookies
These cookies are required for the Services to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take — such as submitting a form, setting your cookie preferences, or completing a CAPTCHA challenge. Without these cookies, lead forms and call-routing systems would not operate correctly.
Examples: session identifiers, CAPTCHA tokens (Cloudflare Turnstile), cookie consent records, and load-balancing session affinity cookies.
3.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies
These cookies collect information about how visitors use our websites and landing pages — which pages are visited most often, how long visitors stay, where they click, and where they came from. The data are aggregated and anonymized or pseudonymized where possible. We use this information to improve site performance, diagnose issues, and understand what drives the best consumer experience.
Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, _gat), session replay and heatmap tools, and custom Nexa Leads analytics cookies that record page-level conversion events.
3.3 Attribution and Tracking Cookies
These cookies are central to the Nexa Leads Network. They allow us to identify which publisher, ad campaign, keyword, or referring source drove a consumer to a landing page or phone number so that the resulting lead or call can be correctly attributed and the publisher compensated. They are set both by Nexa Leads (first-party) and by our analytics and advertising partners (third-party).
Examples: click-ID cookies that persist for 30–90 days, dynamic number insertion (DNI) cookies that associate a visitor session with a specific tracked phone number, and postback URL parameters passed to buyer CRMs.
3.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies
We use limited advertising cookies to measure the performance of our own marketing campaigns, to build lookalike audiences for prospecting, and to suppress existing leads from seeing repeat advertisements (retargeting exclusion). We do not use advertising cookies to build profiles for sale to data brokers or to serve advertisements on unrelated third-party websites.
Examples: Facebook/Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tag, and Google Analytics advertising features.
4. First-Party vs. Third-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are set by Nexa Leads (domain: nexaleads.net or a Nexa Leads-owned landing page domain). These cookies support essential functionality, attribution, and our own analytics.
Third-party cookies are set by domains other than the one you are visiting. We use third-party cookies from the following categories of providers:
- Analytics providers: Google LLC (Google Analytics);
- Advertising platforms: Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook Pixel), Google LLC (Google Ads);
- Security and fraud prevention: Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile CAPTCHA);
- Call-routing infrastructure: Ringba and similar platforms may set cookies to associate a visitor session with a dynamically inserted phone number.
These third-party providers may combine the information they collect through our cookies with information they independently collect about you from other sources, subject to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers.
5. How Long Cookies Last
Cookies have different durations depending on their type and purpose:
- Session cookies expire when you close your browser. They are used for temporary functions like maintaining form state during a single visit.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period — typically 30 days to 2 years — or until you delete them. Attribution and conversion-tracking cookies are typically persistent to ensure that a lead or call is correctly credited to the publisher that generated it, even if the consumer returns days or weeks later.
Typical cookie durations used by Nexa Leads:
- Click-ID and attribution cookies: 30–90 days;
- Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid): 24 hours to 2 years;
- Advertising conversion cookies (Facebook, Google Ads): 90 days to 1 year;
- Essential/session cookies: browser session;
- Cookie preference cookie: 12 months.
6. How to Manage or Disable Cookies
You have the right to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can exercise this right through the following methods:
6.1 Browser Settings
All major web browsers allow you to manage cookies through your browser settings. You can typically:
- View and delete cookies already stored on your device;
- Block all cookies or block only third-party cookies;
- Set the browser to prompt you before accepting a cookie;
- Clear cookies automatically when you close your browser.
Instructions for the most commonly used browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data;
- Mozilla Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data;
- Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data;
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
6.2 Opt Out of Analytics
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6.3 Opt Out of Interest-Based Advertising
You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance (US), the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EU), or your device's advertising settings (Limit Ad Tracking on iOS, Opt Out of Ads Personalization on Android).
6.4 Impact of Disabling Cookies
If you disable or delete cookies, the following may be affected:
- Essential cookies: blocking these may prevent lead forms and call-tracking from functioning correctly.
- Attribution cookies: disabling these means publishers cannot receive credit for the leads and calls they generate, which may reduce the availability of free consumer-matching services.
- Analytics cookies: disabling these does not affect your ability to submit a lead or place a call; it only prevents us from measuring aggregate usage patterns.
7. Consent Banner
When you first visit a Nexa Leads website or landing page, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences. Your preferences are stored in a cookie on your device for 12 months (or until you clear your cookies). You may change your preferences at any time by revisiting this page and using the "Cookie Settings" link available in the website footer on participating pages. If you are located in a jurisdiction that requires opt-in consent for non-essential cookies (such as the EEA or UK), non-essential cookies will not be deployed until you affirmatively accept them.
8. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our cookie practices, the services we use, or applicable law. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Effective Date" or "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
